Hello and Welcome to my Website!
My background: After several decades working as a performer, Theater specialist, and English teacher with a Masters of Education in English, I am excited to announce my next steps as a writer, author, speaker, creative writing teacher, and writing coach. My goal is to share my memoir Deer, Dragonfly, and Cardinal (Barnes. and Noble 2025) with as many readers as I can, and I aim to keep writing for a variety of audiences. You can read a selection of my nonfiction, poetry, and blog posts by scrolling down to the bottom of this page or by clicking on “My Writing.” I am preparing to write the sequel that explores even more deeply my journey of grief and the continuation of signs that Andrew is still with me. In addition to exploring my own experience of profound loss during years five and beyond, I intend to write a book that chronicles the zany and wonderful moments I experienced during my years as a performer.
I am a highly descriptive writer, offering up the big picture and an ability to connect with my readers on the day to day level. My writing style is authentic, honest, relatable, unadorned, and deep, and in doing so, it brings the reader to emotional places.
